Brewpubs have popped up relying on ingredients sourced from the locale. One such brewery has recently enjoyed its 25th anniversary, and now you get to taste what close to three decades of local brewing has to offer. Quidi Vidi Brewery is located on the water and sports a full slate of beers available on tap and in cans. QV has been making beer since 1996, having converted a former fish plant into their brewing facility. The brewery also rocks a collection of choice clothing merchandise for the discerning beer drinker who needs to get their hands on the elusive “t-shirt”. The Iceberg is an American-style lager with a smooth body and light citrus zest. Made from water harvested from Newfoundland’s icebergs, it has the purest beginnings. Serves well at 8°C and can stay in the beer cooler for up to six months.
