Smell
Subtle aroma of grainy malt and toasted biscuits. The hops deliver a faint aroma of watermelon flesh and rind along with a touch of green leaves.
Taste
The flavour follows the nose for its subtlety. The taste of fruit is very faint and most of what you’ll get is a touch of citrus rind and watermelon. The hops are deep in the background, with a little bit of green freshness. Overall this is a laid back taste that’s great for crushing on the patio. Light body with a smooth feel that turns a touch dry and leaves nothing on the table.
Pairing
A solid beer for anything you’ll enjoy off the pub’s menu.
Sight
Pours a pale golden colour with a clear body and low carbonation. A thin ring of bubbles around the glass are all that remains from the pour.

Founded in 2014, and making their brews atop the flowing plains of Saskatchewan, Rebellion Brewing Co. Is one of Regina’s hidden gems in the craft scene. It’s not often that you hear about great beer coming out of the heart of the prairies, but that simply means you don’t have your ear to the ground long enough. A little bit country and a lot of punk rock, Rebellion Brewing sports a half dozen year-round brews on their slate, and a dozen seasonals floating across the slate. A six of your favourites are ready for pickup, or you can get into a growler, even a keg. They’re here to make sure you’ve got tasty beer available every day and twice on Sunday. The Astro Comet is a single hop pale ale using Saskatchewan grown ingredients. A crisp, refreshing ale with notes of fruit, it serves well at 8°C and should be enjoyed right away.
