Description

Situated on the banks of the Fraser River in Delta, British Columbia, Four Winds opened its doors on June 1st, 2013. Owned and operated by the Mills family, who take great pride in making beer that you would want to drink. The Mills brothers, opened a second location in the heart of Southlands, Tsawwassen’s new agriculturally-focused beachside community on 530 acres.  Four Winds brews a range of beer styles, but what they are especially known for is their hoppy IPAs, sour beers, and barrel-aged specialties. Four Winds has become one of BC’s most highly respected breweries. It has already won Brewery of the Year and Beer of the Year at the Canadian Brewing Awards.  The idea behind the brewery was inspired by the idea of gathering flavours from the “four winds” around the world. Its beers are divided into a series based on Greek mythology. The Eurus Series, named after the god of the east wind, is a collection of bottle-conditioned ales. The Zephyrus Series (named after the god of the west wind) is based on bold and unique ales that are hop-heavy. The Notus Series (the god of the south wind) is a series of low-ABV brews that are extremely approachable. You will have to wait for the north wind series, as it is still being developed.
