Description
This is a Calgary based taproom that was inspired by four special and amazing dogs that the owner had over the course of his life. All four were rescue dogs, all four were special needs dogs. All passed away within four months of each other. And so, all were the inspiration for Vince Scheaffer to take a risk and start his own brewery. He decided to create four beers after each one of them: Elvis, Zen, Friday and Sasha. That was the idea behind Four Dogs Brewing. Their loyalty, love, spunk, fight and courage are always an inspiration to the team at Four Dogs. Located in Calgary’s Beltline District, this brewery opened in early 2023. Visiting with dogs in encouraged as the taproom is designed to also host dogs inside as well as outside on the patio. And if you don’t need enough encouragement to buy some brews, for every can sold, $.25 is donated to the Alberta Animal Rescue Society.
