Description

Back in 2016, three friends got together in a house in the southwest part of the city and decided on a business marriage. The three like-minded individuals, Jonas, Darrin, and Hayden, realized that by pooling their resources and talents together they could create their own brewery space. They all had talent, all three were experienced home-brewers who met at the Cowtown Yeast Wranglers homebrew club. Hayden, who had great support from his beer-loving wife, had a great business plan in place and needed partners to make the dream a reality.  Cabin is one of Calgary’s most successful local breweries. Cabin represents the ultimate escape, a home away from home. Cabin Brewing Company embodies that feeling. It is a place to be yourself and to make new memories. Cabin is also a strong supporter of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. They partner with local organizations on their Super Love Initiative, where $1 from every specially-labelled can of their Super Saturation New England Pale Ale is donated to support these organizations.  Jonas is the head brewer; every beer he creates is an impeccable sensory experience. For Jonas, there are no test batches. Darrin is head of operations and is the one who fixes everything. Hayden is in charge of marketing, and incidentally the founder of Alberta’s Daily Beer Blog.
