Description

Based out of Central Alberta, Blindman is an award-winning brewery that is based in the barley belt, in Lacombe. Using nothing but the best local high-quality ingredients, Blindman is one of Alberta’s leaders in creating top-quality innovative flavourful beers. Some benchmarks would include the River Session Ale, Longshadows IPA, New England Pale Ale, and the famous Five of Diamonds Pilsner.  First built in the summer of 2015 by locals, Blindman continues to pride itself on combining old-world styles and traditions while using innovative technology to create what they believe is the best beer. Community-minded and lovers of the great outdoors, this brewery also uses carbon recapture technology, 180 solar panels on its roof, and its Paktech recycling system.  Their brewery has a 24-tap system so you can try all their beers and pair it with something from their Latin-inspired food menu. Kid and dog-friendly. Go visit! The Kuyt ale is this year’s seasonal ale that is brewed for International Women’s Day, made by head brewer, Jasmine. Proceeds from the sales of this beer will support the Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter (CAWES). Their ongoing mission is to support and empower women and children to live free of violence.
