Smell
This beer has a fruity and funky aroma that will leave you puzzlin’. There’s stone fruit on the one hand, but on the other there’s a barnyard funkiness.
Taste
The sweet fruit from the noose rides along underneath everything happening in this tasting. The hops start out mild, but after the swallow they gradually open up to a stronger hop taste that’s slightly earthy and bitter like eating leaves, but also has some floral qualities. The mouthfeel is mostly smooth but gets quite dry after the swallow, leaving you with some floral aftertaste.
Pairing
A strong contender for a spicy chicken stir fry or mild to medium curry.
Sight
Pours a honey colour with a hazy body and low carbonation. A frothy head pours from the can but quickly calms down to a thin ring around the glass.
