Small Gods Brewing is a tidy brewing collective in the seaside village of Sidney, British Columbia. Brewing since 2020, Small Gods has built itself on the ideas of openness and service to those in need. Small Gods chose a theme of “books” for their taproom, not only predicating the layout, decor, and colour scheme in the style of a well-organized book, but also bringing books themselves into the space. Like a friendly local library, Small God’s welcomes all ages to enjoy the space and has regular readings, book swaps, and book clubs. So if you’re traveling along the coast and need somewhere to rest your weary soul, have a pint, and read a good tome... look no further. The Voices In The Evening is a Sour-ale infused with blackberries and blood orange for a wild fruit aroma and flavour, but also sweetened with lactose for a smoother body. Serves well at 8°C and can cellar for six months.
