Sloop Brewing began when Adam Watson and Justin Taylor got together a small self-brewing setup, preparing beer and selling it at the local farmer’s markets of the Hudson Valley. Success has come quickly for the duo, with the opening of a production facility in 2014 and then their brew-pub opening in the abandoned IBM plant at East Fishkill in 2018. The pair named their company for the boats that moved up and down the Hudson, ferrying people and trade goods, which led to the explosive growth of the east coast. In the same spirit, their brewing talents connect people and business now, and their beer is spreading across the country. With over a dozen craft beers, many of them part of a unique brew series, Sloop is putting out quality that crosses all styles and tastes.
