More than a few of Duclaw Brewing’s beers have come across the slate of the Craft Club, and when you get a taste of their creations it’s no mystery why. The off-the-wall brewing ideas of Dave Benfield continue to challenge American craft brewing to think harder, brave the strange, and deliver on beers that take classic styles to the outer limits. Their Baltimore facility has been pumping out tasty brews that cross the nations, the waters of the world, and light up taste buds across the globe. The only deviation in their work is the names and styles they chose to electrify. Seven year round beers grace their taps, and the same number of limited release beers come our way as well. All of them turn tradition on its ear. Sour Me Gummy Bear is a fruity, sweet sour ale with a strong grain backbone. If you like the idea of jamming nickel candy into your mouth, it’ll appeal to your palate. Serves well at 8°C and can cellar for six months.
