A humble place of quiet devotion to the brewing of grains and yeast, resulting in the finest of creations: beer. In central Alberta resides these monks of the hop, spilling out a handful of well-crafted beers into shiny pint glasses in their respectable tap room, and now their work spreads out across the North and down into the world at large. Blindman Brewing began in 2014 and quietly insinuated their excellent craft beer into Alberta’s exploding micro- and craft-beer scene. Their humble and spartan attitude toward making great beers spills over into their taproom and onto their image across the world. They are here to produce simply great work that speaks for itself from the moment the cap is popped off. The Super 8 is a porter aged in old bourbon barrels, giving it a unique aroma and strong character. Dark, smooth, and deep in flavour, it has all the best qualities of Porter with a few unique turns. Serves well at 10°C and can cellar for up to a year.
