Introduction

Of all the beer names out there, Clown Shoes’ beers definitely have some of the most unique and interesting. The Blaecorn Unidragon is one of our favourite monikers of all! A massive, bourbon barrel-aged beauty, this Unidragon will slay your tastebuds (in a good way of course) and knock your socks off too, but tread carefully - this beer is boasting a hefty 12.5% ABV!

How it looks

An opaque black body with a medium, creamy mocha coloured head.

How it smells

Aromas of roasted malt, dark chocolate and hits of coffee along with some char and earthy hops hidden in the nose.

How it tastes

Big flavours of dark chocolate and espresso, roasted malts, earthy hops and a subtle char. The sweetness, and alcohol, of the bourbon also come through slightly. Full-bodied with low carbonation and finishes dry with a creamy and smooth mouthfeel. The alcohol is dangerously hidden in this wonderful representation of a Russian Imperial Stout. As it warms, the flavours are significantly enhanced.

Recommended food pairing

The roastiness and char in this beer pairs nicely with raw oysters. Also a tasty accompaniment to any rich, chocolate dessert.
