More than a few radical craft breweries make their home in Portland, Oregon, and Breakside is making the most of it. Knocking out craft beer since 2010, Breakside Brewery has become a staple in the Portland area and even expanded outside Portland itself, opening up a larger-scale production facility in Milwaukie, OR. Multiple other locations have sprung up over the years, allowing Breakside to provide their tasty brew at a scale that can cross the continent, but also allowing each location to brew their own unique beers. Now they cultivate the neighborhood and the world with equal efficiency and intimacy. Quite the balancing act for a crew that started in a basement. The name says it all - the Breakside Pilsner is a classical inspired take on the German style, bringing light spices, bready backbone, and a crisp refreshing kick. Serves well at 8°C and can cellar for around six months.
