Manual Labour Beer Co. is a fresh-faced kid on the craft beer street in Edmonton. After spending the first part of their lives working the high-steel in Alberta, Richard and Nicole decided it was time to take their passion for beer and make a life from it. Manual Labor has only been brewing for the past year, but already has accolades on its sleeves. Their goal was to take the spirit of the hard work most of their friends and neighbours do each day, and translate that into an equally hard working pint to put in front of them. Producing a range of styles to suit the mighty thirst of their patrons, Manual Labour has a welcoming tap-room with four core beers and a rotation of many more depending on the season. My Wife’s Red Ale is an Irish Red Ale that harkens back to Nicole’s favourite pint of choice in college. Balanced flavour with a refreshing kick that’s crisp and easy drinking. Serves well at 8°C and can cellar for up to six months.
