The malt takes up most of the nose, slightly sweet smelling with a toasted grain backbone. A touch of fresh grass around the edges.

Straight forward ale flavour, sweet malt and a touch of the grain without getting bitter or skunky. The hint of hops from the nose is just as elusive in the taste but it gives some balance to the malt as the taste evolves to make it interesting. Sweet, pleasant, easy drinking ale that’s perfect for the patio.

The brewery recommends Lobster and we’re not one to stop you from enjoying lobster.

Pours a light gold colour with a slightly hazy body and medium carbonation. A thin layer of sticky foam rests on top of the glass.

The Microbrewery known as Pit Caribou put out their first tasty work in 2007. Located near the small fishing village of Percé in the hamlet of L’Anse-à-Beaufils, Pit Caribou celebrates their Gaspésian heritage by producing beers for those who work on the water. And they build up a mighty thirst for the frosty brew in the process. Pit Caribou exploded in size and influence since 2007, opening up pubs all around the province and producing hundreds of beers under their label. They recently started on American-style IPAs created with their uniquely northern perspective on the outcome. La Blonde de L'Anse is a classic ale using a barley malt that gives the backbone a grain character. Refreshing and easy to put down your neck. Serves well at 8°C and can cellar for up to six months.
