Profile
Smell
Very mild aroma of sweet bread and biscuits. There’s a sniff of pepper and clove but very faint.
Taste
The most significant flavour is the toasted bread malt and a hint of spices around the edges. The taste is very mild, turning toward a slightly stronger grain flavour near the end of it all. The body is light and crisp, with a slightly astringent finish. At the end, you’ll have the flavour of flowers hinted at on the palate.
Pairing
This mild brew will go with just about anything you put with it.
Sight
Pours a golden colour with a mostly clear body and low carbonation. A thin, frothy head of foam out of the pour quickly becomes a memory.

Description
Mason Pimm and Ryan Stang have built a craft brewery with their skills and by harnessing the best of their backgrounds. Mason brings the keen eye and accuracy of a mechanical engineer, and Ryan the imagination of a designer and years of underground brewing. Ale Architect collaborates right now with bigger brewing concerns in Alberta, experimenting and moving into the craft spaces that larger operations aren’t prepared to enter. This means they can deliver beers with the weird and wild built right in, but also leverage the collective experience of the province. Art and Science come together to create a half-dozen beers on the slate, with a few seasonal and one-off beers floating in and out as time permits. Lil’ Crispy is a Helles, meaning you’ll get a full-bodied beer with a touch of sweetness and in this case mild spices. Serves well at 8°C and can cellar for three months.
