A lovely deep amber colour with a fluffy white head.

How it smells

This beer puts forth aromas of bread and sweet biscuits with a light fruity note.

How it tastes

The taste is quite malty up front with lots of biscuit and grain coming out as fruity and grassy notes follow and settle into a lightly bitter hop finish. The taste is less sweet than the nose would suggest and ends on a dry note. This is a beer you can session and that will leave you wanting more

Recommended food pairing

This traditional style German beer pairs well with...well, German sausage! Bratwurst, weisswurst...this beer begs you to get your sausage on! It is also a great complement to many pork dishes along with celery, fennel and parsnips
